“It's about time that comfortable and functional workwear was developed for women”

Evelina Andersson works as a supervisor at one of Sweden's largest construction companies. Her job places considerable demands on function and fit as she is constantly in motion.

 - It is important that the clothes are comfortable and have a good fit. The trousers will preferably be of a stretchy material and have a slightly higher waist. There must be pockets and detailing on the clothes so you can carry any tools, notepad and other items that you use every day.

Evelina is one of four dedicated test pilots for the Blåkläder women's collection and she emphasises the importance of having workwear adapted for women

 - In order for there to be more equality in the sector,  it is about time that comfortable and functional workwear was developed for women. Equal conditions where what is available is not exclusively aimed at men, gives the right signals to those girls that are looking to train for a skilled trade in the sector.
